Data Deletion Instructions

You do not need an Appointso account to submit a data deletion request.

1. Submit a request

Email [email protected] with the subject Data deletion request. Include:

  • the email address or phone number associated with your Appointso account or booking;
  • the salon name, if the request concerns a salon booking or customer record;
  • which data you want deleted: your account, booking-related data, connected Meta integration data, or all applicable personal data.

Send the request from your account email address where possible. Do not send passwords, access tokens, payment card details or identity documents with your initial request. We may ask for limited additional information to verify that you are entitled to request deletion. We do not delete another person’s data solely on the basis of an unverified request.

2. Customer accounts and salon records

Closing an Appointso customer account is not the same as erasing all personal data. To request erasure, use the email procedure above. Account closure does not automatically cancel appointments or delete records held by salons.

For customer records and bookings controlled by a salon, contact that salon as well. Appointso assists the salon with requests for data it controls. You can still contact us if you cannot reach the salon or do not know who controls the data. Deleting an Appointso account does not delete your Facebook, Google or WhatsApp account.

3. Facebook, WhatsApp and other Meta integrations

These instructions also apply to personal data Appointso receives through connected Meta services, including WhatsApp booking messages and integration-related identifiers where applicable. Identify the salon or business and the relevant phone number or email address in your request. Do not send integration credentials.

If you authorized Appointso through Meta, you can also revoke its access using the relevant Meta account’s app or business integration settings. Revoking access and requesting deletion are separate actions: revocation alone does not erase previously stored Appointso records. Revoking a salon integration may interrupt its messaging assistant.

4. What happens next

We review the request, verify identity and scope where necessary, and coordinate with the salon when it is the controller. We then delete or anonymize the applicable data, or explain why some data must be retained. We respond within the time limits required by applicable law and explain any permitted extension.

Some records may need to be retained for legal, accounting, security or dispute-resolution purposes. Backup copies may remain until the applicable backup retention period ends; deletion handling must also account for any subsequent restoration. We explain relevant exceptions in our response rather than promising immediate deletion from every system.

We confirm the outcome by email. If you need an update, reply to the same email thread.
